What is Bioelectrical Impedance Measurement
Bioelectrical Impedance Measurement (BIM) measures the electrical conductivity between specific points on the body by creating a “circuit”, and then measuring the flow of the electricity between those points. BIM devices have been consistently used in medicine to non-invasively obtain important health information. Some of the more recognizable devices include EKG’s and EEG’s used to measure heart and brain function. There is substantial scientific information supporting BIM testing. Bonnie, our Nutrition Consultant, has been trained to use BIM and has been certified for 5 years. She can use this device to secure valuable detailed information about your body that will assist in more accurately determining the best course of action for your individual needs.
