He and his wife Susan were married in 1981 and have one son, Keith. Ken has been dairy farming all of his life and in 2003, decided to add Massage Therapy to his repertoire, graduating from Sr. Rosalind’s School of Professional Massage in April 2005 with over 800 hours of training. He is capable of providing anything from a light, relaxing massage to an invigorating, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, using any of a number of modalities including myofascial release, reflexology, acupressure and Swedish massage. In his quest to stay on top of the latest techniques, Ken has been continuing his education by attending workshops and seminars. He recently completed a 40-hour intensive seminar on Orthopedic Massage and Pain Management by the internationally renowned James Waslaski, considered one of the “masters of the trade.” Ken believes that through massage you can relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, flush out toxins, and reduce pain, which helps manage stress and encourages your body to heal from within. |
